Provides a 40-50 year framework for development of FICO farmland

The Sahuarita Town Council unanimously approved the Sahuarita Farms Specific Plan and Development Agreement. The approval comes more than 4-years after FICO initially submitted the plan and after dozens of public meetings, hearings and open houses. Click here for the full Sahuarita Farms media release. The Sahuarita Town Council’s consideration of the Sahuarita Farms Land and River plan is rescheduled to Monday, October 12 at 6:30 PM.  The meeting will take place at the Council Chambers at the Town Hall, 375 West Sahuarita Way.  For further information, please contact us.

Discussion and action on the proposed development agreement between the Town of Sahuarita and Farmers Investment Co. was deferred to hash out final details.

At its meeting on Monday, February 2 at 6:30 PM, the Town of Sahuarita Planning and Zoning Commission will consider the Sahuarita Farms Land Plan.

This is the 4th time the Sahuarita Farms team has appeared before the Commission. In its report to the Commission, Town staff has recommended approval of the plan.
